He builds at only 14 years old, the glider M1 made of wood with which he wins in 1926 the contest organised by the Romanian Royal Air Club.
In 1930, he enrolls at the University Politehnica of Bucharest and in 1931 also at the Mircea Cantacuzino School of Aviation from Baneasa, Romania. În 1930, se înscrie la Politehnica din București, iar în 1931 și la Școala de aviație „Mircea Cantacuzino” de la Băneasa. He later attended the courses of the renowned École des Techniques Aéronautique et de Construction Automobile in Paris (1930-1934), where he became the head of his class and an aircraft engineer.
After getting his pilot license he continues the aircraft construction: the first phase RM-1 glider, followed by the RM-4, RM-5, RM-7, RM-9 types aircrafts.
At IAR Brașov he contributes to develop various types of ariplanes (for hunting, scouting etc.). He builds the RM-10 experimental glider, the RM-11 aircraft (named “duck”) followed by the RM-12 type.
In 1949 he designs the IAR-813 plane for Phase I intruction, presented at various air shows in Romania and other countries (Russia, Hungary).
Until 1970, he made an impressive series of prototypes: IAR-817, MR-2, IAR-818, IAR 818H, IAR-821, IAR-821B, IAR-822, IAR-823, several cars, a motorcycle and a scooter.
He dies in Bucharest in 2004.
