In 1935, she enrolled and learned to fly ath the Mircea Cantacuzino School of Aviation, being instructed by Constantin Abeles.
During World War II she was flying on the Eastern Front, where, in the Sanitary Squadron, she takes part in numerous missions to transport wounded. After 23 August 1944 she operated a connection flight to Czechoslovakia, on the Western Front
She is the only Romanian female with a high military rank performing on two fronts, over 1500 soldiers managing to survive because of her. Este singura româncă cu un grad militar înalt care a făcut ambele fronturi, peste 1.500 de militari scăpând cu viață datorită ei. She received for her bravery the “German Eagle” Order, the “Aeronautical Virtue Order with swords and the “Regina Maria” Cross.
After the war, when the famine was raging through Romania, she took part in actions meant to stem typhus.
Between 1950 and 1954, she worked as a flight instructor at a School of Aviation in Ghimbav, Braşov County, a position from which she was removed for having taken part in the war against the Soviet Union. For this reason in 1955 her military record is withdrawn, having to work as a typist at a clinic until retirment in year 1967.
Only in 2012 she was In 1955, i se retrage livretul militar, fiind nevoită să lucreze ca dactilografă la o policlinică, până la pensionarea sa în anul 1967.
Abia în 2012 she is promoted to the rank of Commander. Until her death, in april 2013, she she was part of the International Association of Women Pilots.
